Method Every piece
How a piece is brought back
- 01
Stripped back
Old covers, tacks and worn wadding come off so the frame underneath can be seen properly. Most of what makes a piece feel tired is hidden at this stage.

Frame and springs
Joints are re-glued and re-blocked where they have loosened, and springs are re-tied or replaced. This is the part nobody sees and the part that decides how long the piece lasts.

Rebuilt and filled
New webbing, hessian and foam or fibre, built up by hand to hold its shape rather than settle into a hollow.

Covered and finished
Your fabric is cut, fitted and finished, with piping, buttoning or studwork to match the original or to change it completely.

When is the workshop open?
Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. Closed on Saturday and Sunday.

Yes - chair and sofa reupholstery is one of our core services. We breathe new life into much-loved furniture with new fabrics, fillings, and finishes, using traditional workmanship.
Do you do campervan upholstery?
Yes - we make custom-cut and upholstered seats for camper conversions, from single seats to complete campervan interiors.
